Carissa is being held hostage in a basement, handcuffed to a metal ring in the ceiling and made to stand. Her captors are negotiating for her safe return, but it's all taking so much time. Carissa has been standing for hours; she is very tired and she badly needs to pee. Stretched almost to capacity, her bladder is sending urgent signals to void, but if Carissa yields to this urge she will wet her jeans and have to stand there in her own urine, her legs cold and wet. She calls out for her kidnappers to come and help her but no one responds. Carissa crosses her legs and bends at the waist as far as the handcuffs will allow. She longs to be able to reach the button and zipper on her jeans, to pull them down and get rid of the terrible pressure in her bulging abdomen, but there is absolutely no way for her to reach. All she can do is try to hold on, hoping that someone will come down soon to help her out of this impossible predicament. Despite her repeated calls and warnings that she is about to lose control, still no one comes to her assistance. At last, the pressure on the walls of her tortured bladder is too great and Carissa starts to wet her jeans. She tries to stem the flow, but it's a hopeless battle. Pee soaks into the legs of her jeans until they are transformed from light blue to dark blue.
